Ba Vi is located about 60 km northwest of Hanoi. There are various ways to reach this beautiful region, but the most common methods are by motorbike or car. From the city center of Hanoi, it takes approximately 2 hours by motorbike to reach Ba Vi National Park, known for its rich biodiversity and scenic landscapes. Here are the two most convenient routes to Ba Vi from Hanoi:
- Route via Lang Hoa Lac: Drive along Lang Hoa Lac road and turn right to go to Son Tay. At the Son Tay intersection, turn left and continue for another 10 km to reach Ba Vi Tourist Area. This route is the most convenient for motorbikes.
- Route via Ho Tung Mau towards Nhon: Drive along National Highway 32 to Dan Phuong Bus Station, then proceed to Son Tay Bus Station. At the intersection with a sign for Trung Ha 20 km, turn left past Son Tay and continue straight for another 7 km, passing through Institute 105 - Xuan Khanh. At the next intersection, turn left to reach the base of Ba Vi Mountain.
Traveling by bus from Hanoi to Ba Vi is popular among many people, especially the younger generation. Buses are not only used for daily commutes but also serve as a unique option for tourism. Here are some bus routes you can take:
- Bus 214 departs from Yen Nghia Bus Station – Xuan Khanh
- Bus 71 or 74 from My Dinh – Xuan Khanh
- Bus 110 passes by Ba Vi National Park entrance
