Located 8 kilometers northeast of Quy Nhon City, Thi Nai is the largest lagoon in Binh Dinh. The lagoon spans over 5,000 hectares of water and stretches more than 10 kilometers in length. It is rich in valuable natural resources and boasts a diverse ecosystem with a thriving mangrove forest. Historically, Thi Nai Lagoon was a naval base for the Tay Son dynasty, where naval battles between the Tay Son forces and Nguyen Anh's troops took place in the early 19th century.
Thi Nai Bridge, nearly 2,500 meters long, was once the longest sea bridge in Vietnam before the Tan Vu - Lach Huyen Bridge in Hai Phong, which measures over 5,400 meters, was completed. The Thi Nai Bridge connects Quy Nhon City with the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, serving as a significant highlight for visitors to Binh Dinh.
